Disney 2010

It's been a while since we've posted......but we've been super busy! Mommy and Daddy pulled off a major surprise and we took the kids to Disney World. We planned it months ago and somehow kept it a secret until we showed up to school one day and just took the kids to the airport. They had no idea, but the reaction was priceless......Bay (as we are walking to the car) "Are we going to Disney World?" Why in the world he thought to ask that, I'll never know. Once we got to the car, Bay found a note from Mickey and Minnie that spelled out the surprise. The boys were so excited! Addie? Not so much. Seems that she is just like her mama when it comes to surprises- save yourself the trouble :). She cried because she never got to say goodbye to Sadie! So sweet, and so not the response we expected....and yet, it's just her. The trip was awesome. Tiring, but awesome! Here's some of our favorite pics from our little adventure........ A sidenote: Asher's hat ended up coming in very handy for the bus ride to the airport on the way home. It was 6 in the morning and we were all exhausted. Bay was first to get bus sick and he used the only barf bag we had. Addie was next. Of course the only thing I had was Asher's hat. What's a mama to do?????? Asher cried because she was throwing up in his hat, but at that point, on a hot bus, in the early morning, with 2 kids throwing up, I had no choice. Don't worry, the hat has been sterilized and, gross as it is, he still wears it. Snort!
We were able to stay at the Grand Floridian resort and it was beautiful. The kids could have cared less, but it was a nice getaway for us adults :). Somehow we never got a shot of the resort itself, but did get this little pic coming off of the monorail!
