I don't know what it is about this pic, but I love it! Addie looks so big. So old (Gah!). I love the way her hair is behind her ear, the cock in her stance, the way she looks so intent on being a good momma to this new puppy. She is so beautiful! Is that a proud momma or what?!

Our Newest Addition!

So we survived potty training our golden retriever, and she has grown into a 90 lb friend to our family. She is so good natured with the kids and we finally shaved her to better deal with the hair. We decided she needed a friend since she spends so much time in our back yard, but I refused any animal that sheds. The solution? We have added a new member to our family in the form of the cutest goldendoodle ever......meet "Maggie Moo!" We absolutely love this little thing and think she's going to be a great addition to our family :)

Addie & Asher Turn 6!!!!

So, I'm behind on blogging again. But I've got lots to share!!! Addie and Asher turned 6 on June 17th and we had so much fun!!! These two make my life so full. They are so very different in so many ways, but I am finally starting to see their closeness as twins. Addie is so girly.....she loves barbies, polly pockets, gymnastics, and bossing the boys (Ha!). Asher is one of the funniest kids I know. He has a knack for saying the funniest things as if on cue, but he's also into music. I believe he'll definitely be an entertainer of some sort one day :). Their birthday fell on a Thursday so we celebrated around the house that day and then had their friends over to party on Friday.

Mommy made a special breakfast for the birthday kids........chocolate chip pancakes and bacon!!! Their favorites!

Kingston Planatation, South Carolina

We were excited to get to take a quick trip to the beach for the Memorial Day weekend. Jody has gotten several CE opportunities for Myrtle Beach, so he thought we would take a few days to see how that beach has changed through the years. Well, it was biker weekend........that pretty much speaks to the scenery! The resort itself was super nice and included a small water park for the kids. They loved it! And, it was relaxing for mom and dad!!!!!! A few pics of the kids on the slides..........
