Game Day With Daddy!

So, the Big Orange were not able to pull off the win against UCLA, but really, who cares?!? Addie got to go to the game with her daddy and that's what's really news, right? Bay went to the second game too, but only because mommy chickened out because it was so stinkin' hot outside. Ugh. When's the first night game anyway? Here's Addie with her daddy pre game and then some cute pics of their adventures....

Ok. I know that we have got to fix the finger sucking thing. I know she's too old. I know her teeth are going to be whack. Blah, blah, blah. I also know that one day I will look at her and still picture her just this way...in the cute outfit, with the cute little bow and barrettes, and those little fingers in her mouth just takin' it all in. I am thankful to have pictures like this! For the record though- she and I bought tape at Walgreen's today so that we can wrap her fingers. This is what Dr. Larmee told us to do so that every time she puts them in her mouth she will remember that they shouldn't be there. Fingers crossed for a quick ween......it's going to be a yucky flu season!

More Big Orange Fever...

Jody says the new jumbo-tron is really something to see. So much bigger than the other one.

Bay getting a good look at everything........really, for him, it's all about Eric Berry (or as Asher likes to call him, Tim Tebow...snort!). Asher keeps getting the names confused, but he is trying so hard to be like big brother. Literally, we were having dinner out the other night, and Asher is his screaching, loud voice says "my favorite player is Tim Tebow!" I'm not kidding when I say that Jody and Bay both started looking around to make sure no one heard. As if someone is actually going to come over and start something with a five year old. Addie and I just laughed. Boys will be boys.....

It's That Time Again!

Well.......unless you're living under a rock around here, you know that it's once again "Football Time in Tennessee." My boys are all about Tennessee Football. Well, they also love Tennessee Basketball, so let's just say that they are BIG Vol Fans no matter what the sport. So, we kicked off the new season in style! We have three season tickets this year, so that makes for a good time for 3 out of 5, which ain't bad! Actually, the boys went to the first home game, and Addie and I spent the day shopping. I'm not complaining! Anyway, the boys were so excited and I think Jody was too. Here's daddy with his boys... The Brothers.....and Sweet little Addie.....

Yes. The boys were so excited that they were some of the first fans in the stands. Jody said that they literally went inside after the Vol Walk (which they could not see b/c he said there were like 50,000 people there). He also said that there wasn't even anything to watch because, hello, the team wasn't even dressed out in their uniforms yet! These boys are something else! Somehow they made it through and also lasted through the entire game :).
