Addie and Asher celebrated the 50th day of Kindergarten with a 50's party in their classroom at school. The kids were supposed to dress the part, and well, Elvis technically may not have been in the 50's, but Asher's costumed rocked! These pictures make my life. I am not joking. Does it ever get any better than my little guy in the 2nd picture? Priceless. And check out Addie in her glasses.......she wore these the whole day! 
I'm finally posting our pics from Halloween. Of course it rained, and so our church canceled the Fall Festival. We were so sad because this has been a tradition for our family since Bay was first born. We really weren't sure what to do with ourselves, but managed to get our act together to do a little trick-or-treating! Bay hates to dress up in costumes, so this first picture is the only one I have of him. Instead of trick-or-treating, he went to the Tennessee football game with his daddy! Addie, Asher, and I were so thankful that Papaw was able to come over to help. Papaw drove and Addie, Asher, and I would jump out at each house. This was really their first attempt at doing this on their own. At the first house, Asher jumped out and literally ran to the door. I almost thought that I was going to have to carry Addie, but she perked up and followed her brother. They were so brave and looked so BIG ringing that doorbell! It was so precious to watch. Asher spent the rest of the time repeating "This is the best day ever!!" every time he got candy.

Bay, too, recently had a field trip and I was able to tag along. The 1st graders have been studying different transportation jobs, so this field trip focused on police officers, firemen, and air travel. It was a super busy day, but the kids really seemed to enjoy........we even had the opportunity to go up in the Sunsphere to view the city! A few pics of the festivities. I hope this is the only time I ever see Bay behind bars- snort!

Addie and Asher's Kindergarten class to a field trip to the Oakes Farm Pumpkin Patch a few weeks ago, and mommy got to tag along. Despite the rainy weather, the kids really had a great time and we even managed to get ourselves stuck in the corn maze! A few pics of the adventure.....
