More of Easter....Let me explain the pencil pic. We're taking pictures on the front steps and Bay dumps over his Easter basket. Of course everything spills. When he looks down, they all start screaming, "a cross, a cross!" It was pretty cool that they landed in this shape! We had to get a picture because it was almost as if God was speaking right to us. Blessed be HIS name.

Happy Easter!!!!! He is risen. The Lord is risen indeed!! What a day to celebrate.....After an awesome service at church, we headed home for the annual Easter pics. Paparrazi does not even describe it. I think my kids would rather do anything than sit through tons of pictures. But every year, we do it. They just look so darn cute all dressed up and celebrating our risen Savior! As you can see, they did not dissapoint, and, well, just sit back and enjoy the beauty of all that our Lord has created. The kids, the weather, the excitement...I think it all speaks for itself. Forget the bunny......Jesus Lives!

This is the priceless pic.......Asher on 2nd base, givin' the thumbs up to all the fans back in the stands!

Now here's little Asher Guy taking a shot at the big time just like his big brother. His team is the Raptors (as in dinosaur). Tee Ball is a new experience for us as Farragut did not have this league when Bay started playing. So, it is funny to see how little they are on the field and how little they really know about what they are supposed to be doing out there! Asher seems to enjoy it so far, and was excited to get the game ball this past weekend. He was able to get the game ball because, well, he was the only player to get anyone out during the game. He managed to do this b/c Jody was behind him yelling "tag him, tag him" the entire time. But, he was so proud of himself for accomplishing this! The funniest thing. His second time up to bat...he struts up there and grins at the fans. Well this causes a little laugh from the stands, so, of course, he loves the attention. What followed were three swings at the tee in which Asher swung (without even looking at the ball) and turned a complete circle, bat in hand. He may have killed a fly or two, but he certainly did no hit the ball. He did however have the whole place in stitches and he was thrilled. When he finally hit the ball, the whole place started cheering. I think it made his life. He is such an entertainer.....

Here's another pic just for fun. You can see his coolness by the way he wears his helmet on top of his backwards hat. He really is such a cute kid (yes, I know he's mine). The best part though is his new number......can you see it? Uh, huh. That's right. Bay is number 1. We've known that for a while, right? Bay got the biggest kick out of this!!!!

And we're off and running......spring baseball season has officially started and that means that we, the Griffins, will be spending lots of time at the ball fields for the next month and a half. So far, Bay's team is 1 and 1 with a blistering loss their second game....wait for it....11 to 4. Ouch! But Bay continues to look like he's growing into quite the ball player. He's gotten through his fear of the machine, and is one of only several on the team who knows how to handle the ball. We are so proud of him!!! His team name is now the RiverCats and this picture shows you the new colors and cool jersey.
