Meet Oreo

Well, she's finally here.....and I'm already pooped! Granted its only been a full 24 hours, but momma's not used to getting up at 5:00am to walk a dog in the freezing cold! Oreo joined our family yesterday. She is so precious, and soooo tiny. She hasn't been around many people and so, our family of 5 has been a bit intimidating for her. She doesn't seem intimidated a bit by the big dogs though....I think she's just more comfortable around other dogs at this point! She may be small, but it doesn't look like she's going to be pushed around. She's quiet the explorer in the grass, and she stood on her hind legs trying to get to Sadie. Ha! Sadie put her butt down and jumped back! Maggie seems a little scared of her so far. I'm sure I'll have lots more to share as time goes on. Here's the few pics I've taken so far. We were gone to church and have been kind of busy, so I really have taken many yet..

1st grade science projects

Addie and Asher recently had turns of being "Scientist of the Week" for their 1st grade class. Addie went first and did a project involving two liters and balloons (when you open the lid, the force from the pressure inside the bottle blows up the balloon). The following week, Asher did his project which involved making bubbles with dish detergent and seeing what instrument makes the biggest bubbles. Here's a few pics from the fun....

More Ozone Pics

Ozone Meet

Last weekend was the much anticipated Ozone Gymnastics Meet. It was fun for Addie because several friends were able to come watch...since the meet was here in town! She had a great meet and placed second in several events and second all-around in her age group. The team finished first! She would have been first, but a future olympian (literally. A 6 year old that scored higher than any other child in the competition) was in her group. She cleaned house with a first in every event, all-around, and highest score of the night. Gah! But Addie took in all in stride..and she had a great competition!!! We are so very proud of her efforts of working hard at practice and giving it her best at the meets. Here's some of the best pics.....
