I'm an Aunt Again!!!!!

My little sister finally had baby number 2. I didn't even think she would make it this far because she is still chasing around baby number 1. Ha! This time around, the delivery was much better....no complications and mom and baby are doing very well! Meet Eli Thomas Brillante......one of the prettiest babies I've ever seen. Long torso, short little legs. My very favorite feature is on his left cheek...........the biggest dimple you have ever seen!!!! I didn't catch it on film, but when this little thing grows up and starts smiling....you just wait! He is precious and his LaLa is so excited to get to know him :). Congratulations Channa and Justin......God has truly blessed you!

Enjoying time under the warmer......hahahahahaha!!!

Precious face......he has his daddy's
hairline!

Lala and Uncle Jody the day he was born! We love you baby Eli!!!!!!!

Covenant Health Knoxville Fun Run---For Kids!

The Covenant Health Marathon was held recently in Knoxville, and our kids participated in the "Fun Run" with other children from their class. Asher's best buddy Nick lost his grandfather to Parkinson's Disease several years ago, and he was running to raise money for Team Fox (the foundation founded by Michael J Fox). Nick's mom Sheri and his dad Steve also ran the half marathon the next day. These kids thought it so big to run that mile. Asher Guy said he was dying 2 blocks into the run! We were so blessed to participate in this event and may even do it again next year.....I captured the boys coming through the finish line...see if you can spot them? The Team Fox shirts are blue :)
Another Finish Line Pic....Hee Hee
I'm still learning how to post through blogger so these pics actually posted backwards (last to first). Now you are reading in reverse, LOL. This pic was pre-race when the kids were gearing up with a cheer!
The McCain's rented a stretch hummer to take the kids to the race. The kids thought this was super cool, and luckily, Jody and I didn't have to ride to supervise (can you say LOUD). Here they all getting their pic with the limo :)

Again, picture is totally out of order....Pic of the kids (and daddy, Sheri, and Steve) post race. Did I mention that Sheri is my best friend? God has been so gracious to give us these special friends over the past year. We are so blessed and thankful for this sweet family. Thanks for giving my kids the opportunity to support such an awesome foundation guys!!! You have made an awesome impact!

Knoxville Fun Run (continued)

Me and my boys post race :)

Bay and the jumbotron...momma couldn't take pics of both, so I focused on getting them running through the finish. All of the kids were on the jumbotron as they ran through!

The Griffin Five!

All of the kids that ran in honor of Team Fox!
