Bay and the Repurposed Pig

Bay recently had a science project at school where the kids were asked to find some objects laying around the house and re-use them to create something new. It's a recycle lesson they have been talking about in science. After a little bit of searching (google), momma found this little idea. Daddy and Bay got to work on it, and I had to share because it just turned out so great! Bay re-used a 2 liter Dr Pepper bottle, 1 paper towel tube cut into 4 pieces, googly eyes, and a pipe cleaner. And, ta-da........a piggy bank! Too cute if I do say so myself. Surely he will get an A plus for this?!?!?!?!

Tyler James Turned 2 !!

Last weekend we celebrated my nephew's birthday. I can't believe how fast time flies...Tyler is already 2!! This little guy is so very smart and so full of expression. I love him to pieces even if he won't hug me (he's just too busy for that stuff). Cha Cha, I won't spoil your birthday post, but here are a few of my favorites that I captured from Ty's birthday party. I've included one of Papaw and Eli just because I thought it was so darn cute. Tyler James, we love you and hope your birthday was extra special!!!!!!!!

Valentine's Day 2012

Well Valentine's Day has come and gone. We did lots of celebrating at our house. Pink pancakes with chocolate chips for breakfast, special snack for school, and an oh so special dinner for the day of love.......heart shaped pizzas from Papa Murphy's! My day was filled with all kinds of love from my babies and my hubby. Addie and Asher helped to make sweet little cupcakes for dessert, and daddy came home with jelly beans for his boys and two very special treats for his girls. I hope that you were able to spend your valentine's day with the ones you love. Love is the greatest gift worth giving!!!

Tiger Paw Meet

Addie's last meet was so much fun....exhausting, long, and little bit harder on the gymnastics side, but she still says it was the "most fun." I can definitely see why they take the girls over there to compete! Here's a few pics from the meet.....Addie didn't have the best day, but had a good showing. 2nd on floor, 2nd on beam, 4th on vault, 4th on bars, and 2nd all-around.....

Asher and the "Bee"

Asher participated in the first grade spelling bee a couple of weeks ago. I'm so behind on posting, but here's a few pics from the event.......he came of just short of getting to travel to Asheville for the regional bee :(
