Addie's 1st Competition- Gallatin, TN

Addie's first meet was a success! Her scores were: 9.3 on Vault (3rd place), 8.175 on Bars (10th place), 8.525 on Beam (7th place), and 9.1 on Floor (2nd place). She got 6th place in the All Around and this was very surprising because she messed up her dismount on beam and messed up on a skill on bars. So, with clean routines, she could place even higher.....not too bad for a 1st year gymnast! We are so very proud of her. Of course, the comment of the day was "But I didn't get a 1st on anything (pouty face)" Ha! She has the competitive spirit like me and Bay. So funny!! Can't wait for all of you to see her at the Foothills Meet!!!!!

Catching Up

So, I tried to post a week ago, and my pictures wouldn't come up. Now I'm way behind and have so much to share. I'm going to make this post all the info and then just post pictures since I can't figure out how to get my computer to let me do both in the same post. Ugh! Anyway, we've been knee deep in football and gymnastics. I've got several pics from one of Asher's games when he was actually playing (vs. staring at the little cheerleaders, Ha!), pictures from our trip to the Tennessee game (the whole family actually made it!), and pictures from Addies's first official gymnastics meet.

Life has been crazy busy.....and while I wouldn't change one bit of it, I am struggling a bit to maintain this blog. Please show patience with me when you may not be informed of all that's going on. I'll blog as often as I can and share pictures with you!
